We have a long time private dealer and mechanic in our area that is very trustworthy and reliable. One day I passed the location and noticed an SUV I had never seen before. It's appearance was nothing like I had ever seen. Unhappy with my current car, I investigated further to learn about the Mitsubishi Endeavor. Like other reviewers have said, it is unusual that this is a relatively unknown and underrated car. When I drove it, I couldn't believe it... as it was nothing like I have never experienced....quiet, smooth ride, roomy and lots of unexpected options. It was a 2005 Endeavor Limited with the complete package (running boards, etc.). Needless to say....I was sold! I have had the Endeavor 2005 for over 7 years now and it runs great and as smooth as the day I purchased it with 90,000 miles on it. As a result, I purchased a second one to provide us with a 3rd spare car to my husband's truck. A 2011 Endeavor SE. It has not let me down as well in terms of comfort, performance, maintenance and looks. Additionally, my hobby is car detailing and body work, so needless to say both Endeavors are in good cosmetic shape. I get lots of requests from people who don't know what make the car is and admire the shape and style....in addition to those who wish to look at the car and reminisce because they have traded their Endeavor in and regretted it.
    • 9 yrs and drives like new

We bought the car new at start of 2004 and have literally not had to do anything to the car beyond regular maintenance and recalls. Car drives unbelievably well still, great pick-up, never stalled, no hesitation and blows almost everyone else away when needing to accelarate. Handles great in the snow. Is the most reliable car I've ever had. We do oil changes every 3-4k miles and past 5 yrs we've been using regular unleaded, even though they tell you to use premium. Gas mileage is bad, I avg 15 a gallon and drive locally, usually not highway. Basically, would do it all over again. Still looks modern, interior awesome, exterior some rust on roof. Paint on roof rack started fading right away. If you take good care of this car and wash off salt right away and garage it, I can see it lasting easliy 200k miles.
